Rowantoft terms of use

Last updated: 2 November 2026

1. Who we are. Rowantoft is provided by Dueford Ltd (company number 09359050, registered in England and Wales), registered office Coltwood House, 2 Tongham Road, Runfold, Farnham, GU10 1PH. Contact: support@dueford.com. These terms apply to your use of rowantoft.com and rowantoft.co.uk.

2. What the service is. Rowantoft shows estimates of sale prices, rents and gross rental yields for UK postcode areas, derived from published government data. The figures are statistical summaries of past transactions and published rent indices. They are not a valuation of any property, not a forecast, and not a recommendation to buy, sell, let or borrow.

3. Not financial advice. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Dueford Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Property values and rents can fall as well as rise. Before making any decision you should obtain your own professional advice and your own valuation.

4. Data sources and accuracy. Figures are derived from HM Land Registry Price Paid Data, the Office for National Statistics and other sources listed on the Methodology page, each used under its published licence. Sale data is typically two to three months behind the market. Rents are published by local authority, not by street, so the rent shown for a sector is a range and may differ substantially from any individual property. We make reasonable efforts to process the data correctly but we do not guarantee that any figure is accurate, complete or current.

5. Acceptable use. You may use the site for your own research. You must not: use automated tools to extract data from the site or its API beyond the published rate limits; attempt to circumvent the bot check or rate limits; interfere with the service or its security; or republish our figures as if they were your own. The underlying government data remains available from its publishers under the Open Government Licence.

6. Intellectual property. The site's design, text and software belong to Dueford Ltd. The property data is Crown copyright and database right, used under the Open Government Licence v3.0 and the other licences listed on the Methodology page, with the attributions shown there.

7. Availability. The free service is provided as is and we may change, suspend or withdraw it at any time without notice.

8. Liability. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, Dueford Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the figures shown, from any inaccuracy in the data, or from the unavailability of the service, and in any event its total liability to you in connection with the free service is limited to £100.

9. Changes. We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
